A comprehensive survey in the last four years shows that 9 different Cretaceous basins in w:st="on">w:st="on">Zhejiang w:st="on">Province yield abundant dinosaurs and their eggs, including 5 species of dinosaurs and 24 different oospecies of dinosaur eggs. These fossils occur mainly in the Liangtoutang Formation, Chichengshan Formation of the Tiantai Group in the w:st="on">Tiantai w:st="on">Basin and the Jinhua Formation of the Qujiang Group in the w:st="on">w:st="on">Jinqu w:st="on">Basin. Abundant dinosaur and egg fossils are also present in the Chaochuan and Fangyan formations of the Yongkang Group in Yongkang, Nanma, Chengzhou, Xuanju,  Zhuji and Hushan.
