摘要

The Yarkand River area of west Kunlun Mountains in Xinjiang lies in the northwest part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, passing through the Kunlun Mountains and the central part of the Karakorum Mountains. Geological investigation there was very few because of poor natural and access conditions. According to previous geological work in this place, a comprehensive analysis of the regional metallogenetic settings has been achieved from regional geology, regional geochemistry and regional mineralization, thus making a discussion on metallogenetic types and ore-prospecting potential for further geological investigation in mineralized zones.
