Ore-Controlling Role of Fault and Genetic Mechanism of the 210 Gold Ore Deposit in Beishan Area, Xinjiang
详细信息
摘要

The 210 gold ore deposit is located in Hami City near the border with Gansu Province. It is situated in Beishan rift on the northeastern edge of the intersection belt between Kazakhstan-Junggar Plate and Tarim Plate. Fault structure is the most important ore-controlling factor. The trusting fracture zone formed in the brittle deformation stage is the host structure of the 210 gold deposit, controlling the fracture zone altered rock gold mineralization. The imbricate fault formed in ductile shear thrusting deformation doesn’t bear gold mineralization. Near NS-trending gently inclined extension faults controlled the quartz vein mineralization type. The mechanism of the ore-controlling tectonic in low angle ductile-brittle shear zone is analyzed with the “Riedel shear” theory.
