Geochemical Evaluation of Exploration Prospect in the Xiongcun Copper-Gold District and Peripheral Areas, Xietongmen County, Tibet
摘要
According to geochemical surveys and geology in the Xiongcun district and periphery areas,the authors have reached following tow conclusions:1) the main mineralization type is porphyry copper-gold in this region and it also has skarn copper-gold and hydrothermal gold (or copper) mineralization. The Dongga district has the potential for finding porphyry copper-gold deposits or hydrothermal gold veins. The Yada mineralization area has exploration potential at depth. The Yonggongba and Zeqiong mineralization areas have the potential for finding skarn copper-gold deposit; and 2) copper soil anomalies in the Xiongcun district are controlled by the terrain, usually in the downhill direction of the orebody. Au, Ag and Cu have similar characteristics of soil anomalies. The distribution of Pb and Zn soil anomalies are distributed around the ore body like satellites.
