The fractal dimension of Longmenshan fault around the Beichuan County and the hazards-point of different zone of Longmenshan fault is calculated by using fractal. The results showed that the fractal dimension of the different zone of Longmenshan fault well reflects the tectonic characteristics of the faults, and it is positively correlated with the secondary hazards-point distribution density of different zone of Longmenshan fault. The fractal dimension of the secondary hazards-point distribution is not fully consistent with the fractal dimension of the faults and the hazards-point distribution density. All this quantitatively proof the relate among the fractal dimension of fault, the fractal dimension of the secondary hazards-point distribution and the hazards-point distribution density, and the distribution of hazards-point after earthquake controlled by Longmenshan faults are successfully confirmed by quantitatively way.
