Daba Mountains at the north edge of the Upper Yangtze Block lies in a long-term interactive area where the Qinling orogenic belt is in touch with the Yangtze Block, in which the tectonic deformation and the geomorphic features have recorded the process of tectonic movements from Indosinian, Yanshanian and Himalayan tectonic events particularly. Based on Geographic Information System (GIS) in this paper, a detailed research of the structural geomorphology of Daba Mountains and its foreland basins has been made from processing DEM data with geological maps, drainage system and various data. According to statistics of gradients, landform, fluctuation, elevation and profile sections, analysis of the structural geomorphology of Daba Mountains has indicated that many times of uplift occurred between the Late Yanshanian and the Himalayan periods when foreland thrust folds formed there, in which at least three times of large-scale uplift happened since the Himalayan period.
