Geological Features and
The Baishilazi scheelite deposit is located in contacting zone between the marble of the Late Palaeozoic Qinglongcun Group and the Hercynian biotite granite. The vein and lenticular major ore body is obviously controlled by NE-extending faults and contacting zone. Metal minerals in the skarn ore include scheelite, pyrite, chalcopyrite and magnetic pyrite. Nonmetal minerals are mainly made of garnet, mussite, scorza, calcite and quartz. Geological features indicate that the Baishilazi scheelite belongs to the skarn deposit. The marble of the Qinglongcun Group, the Hercynian biotite granite, NE extending faults and contacting zone are closely related to the scheelite mineralization. The deposit has large ore prospecting potential.
