U-Pb zircons from a granitic high temperature mylonite were dated by SHRIMP. The results reveal that the main minerals such as feldspar, quartz and amphibole are characterized by high temperature crystalline ductile deformation and oriented growth under the condition of amphibolite facies, which provides evidence for strike slip shearing deformation event.
