The hydrocarbon source rocks of Qingshankou Formation in Chaoyanggou-Changchunling area are characterized by high organic abundance and big thickness, and whether there are direct relation with the hydrocarbon accumulation or not for the rocks is still in air up to now. The study shows that the hydrocarbon generating ability in the in-situ source rocks is limited between Chaoyanggou to Changchunling structural belts, and moreover there are much better correlation for the most of crude oil in the belts with those in Sanzhao or Wangfu Sags. Finally the lithological-structural petroleum reservoirs mainly controlled by the structures are built on the peak of the structures. The fault-lithological oil reservoirs in the pinchout trap of lithology are formed on the slope facing the main hydrocarbon-source-rock area.
