“The Tenth-Five-Year” Digital Observation of Water Temperature and Monitoring Efficiency Evaluation of Earthquake Precursor in Gansu Region

This paper analyzed the digital observation data of water temperature from “The Tenth-Five-Year” stations. The results showed that the data from most well points were reliable, and annual variation of water temperature digital observation were regular and stable. Currently, the main problem was that there was a big pulse-amplitude, abrupt shifts and interrupt logging individual point. According to earthquake cases before, the authors can distinguish the mid-term precursor of earthquake in most well points with the symbol of broken annual variation and the short-term precursor of earthquake in some well points.
