Because of the lack of the marine (lacustrine) overflow interface, corresponding to the marine ( lacus- trine) -facies strata, the identification of fluvial facies parasequences is more difficulty. By means of the organic integration between the fluvial and lacustrine facies depositions an'd comprehensive analyses of the base-level chan- ges and rate of sediments of fluvial-lacustrine depositional system, it is considered that there exist many kinds of fluvial and lacustrine facies parasequence i. e. not only the subsequences shallowed upward for the water, but the ones deepened upward. It is greatly significant for the sequence analyses with the help of lifting and droping base- level cycles, and moreover the analyses show that the subsequences are resulted from the cyclic uplift sedimentation of the base level and furthermore are composed of the semicycles of the base-level uplift; it is important that the model with lifting and droping base-level semicycles is cannot simply and mechanically introduced within a complete fluvial and lacustrine facies parasequence; on the contrary, the comprehensive and specific analyses should be conducted.
