In order to evaluate the reserve potentials of coalbed methane in Hailar Basin, on the basis of the ex- perimental data of the coal seams in Huhehu Sag, the evaluating method by means of well logging data is explored. With the help of the methods of the logging calculated by cores and volume model, the industrial analyzing compo- nents of the seams are computed. Based on the above, the relations between the components and gas content are established, and moreover the coefficients of Langmuir Equation are obtained by means of the experimental data, by the adsorption isotherm, the gas content is estimated, finally the permeability property of the coalbed is predic- ted by the permeability calculated by the logging data. The practice show that the built model can be feasible to re- search the components, gas content and permeability of the coalbed. The evaluation of coalbed in the research area is achieved by the models established~ and furthermore there is much better coincidence between the calculated re- sults of the model and the experimental data.
