摘要
The Cretaceous ostracods has been collected from 22 samples of borehole and outcrop of the Mawu Formation in the Huaiji Basin, western Guangdong Province. Totally 17 ostracod species in 10 genera have been recognized, and out of which 14 species in 8 genera are figured here, including one new species. The most common genera are Eucypris, Zizi-phocypris and Darwinula, named Eucypris hubeiensis-Ziziphocypris simakovi-Darwinula leguminella assemblage. The ostracod assemblage of the Mawu Formation is very similar to that of the Jiadian Formation in Hubei Province. They are roughly equivalent in horizon, and should be ascribed to the latest Early Cretaceous-early Late Cretaceous in age.
