man’; FONT-SIZE: 14pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA" lang=EN-US>Focusing on the issue of inadequate extraction of metallogenic information especially geological information, this paper proposes a new method of extracting metallogenic information based on field model, i.e. the method for field analysis of metallogenic information, and made an case study of the extraction of metallogenic information with the method by taking the western Guangxi and southeastern Yunnan areas as an example. The presentation method for the field models of metallogenic information, including the metallogenic influence field model and the metallogenic distance field model, is discussed under the field theory by analyzing the presentation ways of the distance gradualness and the influence superposition of metallogenic information. The case study indicates that the method of metallogenic information field analysis is useful for extracting the ore-controlling information of synsedimentary faults and manganese sedimentary basins in the study area, and that extraction results are both statistically and geologically significant.
