The characteristics of InSAR and traditional technology in Shanghai land subsidence monitoring are discussed in the paper, new evolution of the application of InSAR on land subsidence research in Shanghai is emphasized. Based on the application of overseas mature InSAR software and self-developed InSAR software on land subsidence research in Shanghai, this paper adopted mass of actual measurement data and methods to collect interpreted results of InSAR software, then some primary points of view on the research are proposed.
