The Zijinshan mining field, which is dominated by the Zijin copper-gold deposit, is the first high-sulfide epithermal deposit discovered in oft-com:office:smarttags" />China. This paper points out that the mineralization system of the Zijinshan mining field is characterized by tectonic structure, body within body, altered alteration, mineralized mineralization, and by a vertical zonation of mineralization : “U,Ag→Au→Au,Cu→Cu→Cu, Mo→W,Sn” from top to bottom, and a “multi-storey”metallogenic model.
