Habahe plutons, in the east of Ashele volcano-sedimentary basin, are located at the southern margin of the Altay orogenic belt, which are composed of basic intrusion-intermediate intrusion-acid intrusion. LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon analyses from monzogranite yield weighted mean 206Pb/38U ages of (406.3±2.1) Ma, which can be interpreted as the crystallization age of the monzogranite. These intrusions are generated at the Early Devonian, which is a period with intense magma activity at the southern margin of the Altay orogenic belt related to an active continental margin.
