This paper summarized structural features of folds, faults and coal seam No.3 in the Chengzhuang ore field, and made divisions of principal stress orientations and phases in the area since Yanshanian Period based on statistics, assorting and staging of joints. The principal stress is divided into 3 stages, and the Chengzhuang ore field into 3 phases in terms of structural evolution after coal-bearing stratigraphy was formed: early stress phase built the basic framework of the coal field structure; middle phase exerted little influence on the ore field; and late stress phase completed the coal field structure.
