This paper elaborates the geological characteristics of the Santianmen gold deposit, analyzes the genetic type of deposit, it thinks the deposit belongs to medium-low temperature hydrothermal micro-disseminated gold particle deposit. Gold ore body mainly hosts in the thin layer limestone and the low-metamorphic shale or siltstone of Devonian system, if the area is fault intersection in direction of nearly EW and SN to combine with the folding in direction of EW will becomes the beneficial district of the deposit, the deposit has a dispersion abnormal combination with gold, silver, arsenic, antimony and barium, the Luosizhuang and the Xiaojiayuanzi and the Huigou are three favorable potential areas for prospecting. Finally validation work is carried out in the target area.
