摘要
The authors systematically analyzed coseismic well level response in Three Gorges well-network and its post-seismic characteristic to MS8.0 Wenchuan earthquake. The result indicates that each well has its characteristic of itself. In the condition of similar borehole configuration, the difference lies on site structure of the well, imbed type of monitoring layer, transmissivity of aquifer system. We studied mechanical mechanism of coseismic and post-seismic step-rise and step-drop, and its significance in earthquake prediction. Using recent seismic activity on the Xiannüshan fault, the authors has validated the scientific deduction that the remained step-rise zone may be potential zone with earthquake danger.
