Based on the fractures strong heterogeneity in SantanghuBasin and by referring the coherent attribute technique, a multiazimuthal analogy coherent attribute fracture prediction method was proposed in this paper. After applying the method in Kalagang Formation fracture zone in Malang Depression, the following understandings were achieved: 1) two big fracture zones were developed in Carboniferous Kalagang Formation in the Malang Depression with the fracture associated structural fractures as the main fractures in the zones; 2) the sensitive extent analysis from the geophysical characteristics shows that the fracture zone which develops in the NE direction were more developed than the one in nearly EW direction, being the favorite target zone in the future oil and gas exploration.
