Some radioactive minerals are found in quartz tungsten vein, granite and metamorphic rocks in Shirenzhang tungsten deposit. According to microscope analysis, there are uraninite, thorite and thorianite. Part of the intergrown surrounded by pyrite is euhedral crystal with minerals as monazite, zircon, ilmenite, magnetite and xenotime. Some of them are broken and dislocated by force. By analysis of scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrum, the crystalloid uranium contains UO₃ 86.38%~100%, ThO₂ 0~11.88%. The zircon contains UO₃ 0~5.05% besides SiO₂(28.76%~33.49%), ZrO₂(58.11%~67.28%) and HfO₂(0.25%~5.24%).
