///The Xiyi Pb-Zn deposit is in the central north part of Baoshan Massif. And the ore-bearing bed is the Lower Carboniferous Xiangshan Formation limestone. In this paper, the authors have a systematical sum-up of the results of field geological investigation and exploration, discover that this ore deposit is at the margin of a fault depression basin, controlled by the cogenetic fault, with obvious stratabound, rock-bound and time-bound characteristics. The zonation of metallogenetic element is evident. In this paper, the authors have a sum-up of the metallogenesis model of Xiyi Pb-Zn deposit and its prospecting significance in Xiyi orefield.
