///The cobalt deposit is in the Kunyang Group Luoxue Formation (Pt2l) at Laochang,Yimen. After the sedimentary metamorphic Cu metallogenesis in this area, the superimposed hydrothermal metallogenesis controlled by the later tectonism (Jinning or Yanshanian) forms the earthy oxidized cobalt deposit by the weathering leaching enrichment. It belongs to the earthy cobalt deposit of weathering-sedimentation-reformation type.
