In this paper, the authors new found a set of special facies at the upper layer of Silurian Mayilashan formation of the Qiada area in the West Junggar Basin, after careful lithologic features, distribution horizon, tectonic deformation and space combination relations for its redefinition of slump accumulation. The discovery, confirmed the Qiada area in Middle-Late Silurian in slope belt of basinal facies. Identify the olistostrome with in Mayilashan Formation, which can provide some reliable evidences for Silurian sedimentary environment and paleogeography evolution of the West Junggar Basin, also for further analysis of basin evolution beings offers important evidence.
