In Dongying Sag, the sand reservoir has good condition for hydrocarbon accumulation, but the serious reconstruction caused by complex fault system increases the difficulty of stratigraphic correlation between wells and reservoir prediction. Seismic predicting technique integrates the advantages of interpretation and inversion software, aiming at the geologic conditions of the target intervals in Yongan area of Dongying Sag, based on accurate formation calibration, by fine structure interpretation, structural geological modeling, multi-well constraint inversion and sandstone reservoir prediction, combined with drilling data, the relationship model between reservoir thickness and inversed impedance was established, and the distribution of reservoirs was calculated.
