The Laba Fe multimetallic deposit is in the Geza metallogenetic zone in NW Yunnan Province. The Himalayan andesite stock and vein intrude into the carbonate rock of Middle Triassic Beiya Formation. And the metallogenesis and ore body are controlled by the skarn in E, W both sides of outer contact, in the skarn of advantageous part of structure and lithologic character. It must be a skarn Fe multimetallic deposit of hydrothermal type, with the major ore magnetite and the associated elements Cu, Au, Ag, W and Mo, etc.
