Discussions on Prospecting Potential of Granite-Type Uranium Deposit in Chenzhou-Qinzhou Area

摘要
Chenzhou-Qinzhou uranium metallogenic belt was closed to the Taoshan-Zhuguangshan granite-type uranium metallogenic belt. It was an important ore-prospecting area for granite-type uranium deposit. The authors analyzed geological condition of mineralization of granite-type uranium deposit in Chenzhou-Qinzhou area,and suggested that ore-controlling fractures and uranium-enriched igneous rocks were well developed in the area,especially in the north part of the region which had favorable metallogenetic conditions for granite-type uranium deposits. Based on the overlap analysis of factors of geophysical and geochemical prospecting like aero-radioactivity anomaly and geochemical anomaly of the stream sediments,the authors discussed the prospecting potential of uranium resources in Chenzhou-Qinzhou area and indicated that the Qitianling intrusion was of good prospecting perspective for searching granite-type uranium deposit.
