Based on the theory and methods of geostatistics and with the software package of the mathematic model for ore deposit, a 3D digital modeling was established for certain ore body in Baimazhai Ⅲ ore body of Jinping, Yunnan province. A comparison of the modeling results with the real deposit showed the accuracy of the modeling. The results indicate that it is easy to know the form, dimension and distributing characteristics of the chemical composition of the ore body with this model, which provides a foundation for dynamically calculating reserves of bounding ore body. This study also demonstrates the unique advantage of the digital mineral deposit model in mineral exploration of mines at depths.
