摘要
///Studies on seismic stratigraphic sequences, depositional evolution and fault activities of the Enping Depression have revealed that tectonic and sedimentary responses to the second episode of the Zhu-Qiong movement are characterized by a regional unconformity between the Enping Formation and the underlying Wenchang Formation, evolutional transform of the basin from rift to fault sag; migration of subsidence centers, generation of EW-orientated faults and the whole transform of depositional system. Furthermore, integrated with studies on the Huanghua Depression of the Bohai Bay Basin, eastern China, it has been proposed that the second episode of the Zhu-Qiong movement and its synchronous tectonism can be found not only in the Pearl River Mouth Basin but also in other Cenozoic basins of eastern China, they have affected tectonic evolution, deposition, and petroleum system of these basins greatly.
