According to the core description, on the basis of the integrated analysis of core, electric characteristics, sedimentary structures, petrofabric and facies, the types and the characteristics of the sedimentary microfacies in Qiketai Formation have been studied. It indicated that Qiketai Formation with the characteristics of closing to source rock, low composition maturity belongs to the fan delta facies, which can be further divided into two subfacies including the front delta and Shore - shallow lake subfacies and four microfacies including underwater distributary channel, underwater distributary interbasin, underwater overflow deposit and delta front sheet sand micofacies. The distributary channel microfaces is the more favorable reservoir, and delta front sheet sand is also the reservoir.
