The multi-purpose regional geochemical mapping is a scientific expression of the regional soil geochemical distribution and characteristics by means of graphical representation, in the case of large area mapping, the data specification often varies greatly, they may come from different survey areas, or tested in different laboratories at different times, the gridding data may be based on element data from both surface and deep soil under different landscape conditions or grid spacing, sometimes with different zone methods. The authors have tentatively compared several interpolation methods commonly used in geochemical data processing, in terms of grid spacing and search radius, and proposed data processing methods and relevant technical parameters used by the authors in the map compilation.
