摘要
Mesoceratocanthus tuberculifrons gen. et sp. nov. is described based on a well-preserved specimen from the Lower Cretaceous of Inner Mongolia, China. It is attributed to the tribe Ivieolini of Ceratocanthinae (Insecta: Coleoptera: Hybosoridae). The fossil is the first record of the subfamily Ceratocanthinae Martínez, 1968 from the Mesozoic, and suggests that Ivieolini was widely distributed around the world although nowadays it is restricted to
