The marine volcanic copper deposit in Xinlian ore section is controlled by lithology, structure and marine metamorphic volcanic rock. Copper ore body occurs in metamorphic basic rocks, which lies in the axis and two wings of Laoxinjie anticline. Metamorphic basic volcanic rock is not only mother rock but host rock, whose features includes large deposit scale, stable grade, and great ore quality and distributed in the form of groups and zones. Based on former integrated exploration, we can make a conclusion that it is a metallogenic model of four-stage cycles and six floors. The proved reserves of copper reach medium-seized deposit now. Regarding to the proved reserves of copper among exploration line from 75 to 127, we can predict that Xinlian ore section contains more than 500 thousand tons of copper reaches large ore deposit.
