摘要
Typical mid and short term anomaly recorded by geotherm observation well corresponds with several moderate earthquakes in east China and applies successfully to short-term earthquake prediction after digital rebuild of Suqian 05 and Jinhu 06 wells in Jiangsu Province.This paper studies typical anomaly graphs and prediction activities and draws the conclusion as follows:Geotherm as an observation item of warning indications of earthquakes possesses the characteristics of short-term and approaching in forecasting;It well reflects the stress activities caused by the medium earthquakes in the band of the well;Thus,it plays an important role in the short-term earthquake prediction.
