First, electrical resistivity tomography and shallow seismic exploration were used to locate the faults, further, drilling for the precise position and structures of the faults and the stratigraphic configurations were carried out. On the basis of the radiocarbon age, OSL, paleomagnetism and pollen dating, the formation ages were divided. Lastly，the location, structure and activity of the fault were clearly provided. The latest activity of the fault in the area happened in Early Pleistocene so the fault in the area is not seismic active fault.
