摘要
This paper uses the statistical methods that had been applied in Pennsylvania, USA by USGS to explore the groundwater pre-warning in Beijing Plain area. According to the real time percentile statistical analysis of the representative individual observation, the criteria for the groundwater level pre-warning in Beijing Plain area have been set up: the groundwater level fell into minimum to 5th percentile, 5th to 10th percentile, 10th to 25th percentile and 25th to 75th percentile are defined as red pre-warning,orange pre-warning,yellow pre-warning and blue pre-warning,respectively. Combining the pre-warning results of all representative groundwater monitoring well with a local groundwater regime, the authors carried out the regional groundwater level pre-warning. The authors conclude that the groundwater level reaches the historical lowest value in the main exploitation area of Beijing Plain, especially in the upper areas of Chaobai River alluvial fan and in Pinggu Basin. The pre-warning method is clear and simple and is expected to be widely used in the groundwater exploitation area.
