摘要
Passive protection system is introduced, and the finite element model of RXI-050 is established. LS-DYNA is applied to analyze the energy attenuation of rockfalls with different diameters and different initial kinetic energy which impact on the passive protection system. The results show that the times of energy attenuation will increase with the addition of rockfalls’ diameters when rockfalls with the same initial kinetic energy rebound after impacting on the flexible passive system, then the values and times will reduce with the increasing of initial kinetic energy when rockfalls with the same diameters penetrate into the flexible passive system. The conclusion provides a reference for improving the function of flexible passive system, and it also provides a foundation for the designing of rockfalls protection.
