The northern steep-slope region in the Dongying Sag developed sandy conglomerate reservoirs of various origins. By use of core and formation micro-resistivity imager (FMI) data, the FMI image features of lithology, sedimentary structure and rhythm of different sandy conglomerates are analyzed, and an image model of geologic significance is established. Then in combination with conventional logging, borehole log, and physical properties data, the sedimentary cycle and sedimentary facies of single well sandy conglomerate bodies are divided, and the plane distribution of sedimentary facies of sandy conglomerate bodies is concluded.
