///In this paper, the Datong and Changzhi mining district are chosen as the study area. On the basis of soil pollution around the deposit sites of coal refuse and the soil nutrition in the subsidence areas, the soil environment quality is estimated. The results show that the obvious pollutants are SO₂^-4,Cu,and Zn,etc.Pollution area of SO₂^-4 is larger than that of others. The contents of Cu, Zn are affected by environment background. Other pollutants such as NO^-3,As,Pb,Cd,etc,also have different pollutant effect on soil. Exploitation subsidence has some effect on the contents of P、K、N and organic compound around subsidence the area, but the effect is not as obvious as expected.
