In this paper, the distributary characteristics of the formations in Fuyang oil reservoirs are analyzed. The analyses show that the denudation of structure uplift and lower geothermal gradient are the main reasons for the current abnormal low pressure in Chaochang area. In addition, the diffusion and concentration differential action of the natural gas present a certain contribution for the generation of negative pressure. Abnormal low pressure is beneficial to the formation of the pressure gradient between the excess pressure region (Sanzhao Sag and Bin County-Wangfu Sag) and the area, thus the dynamic environment for petroleum accumulation can be established. At the same time, the generated negative pressure by structure uplift has provided the enrichment space and migration pathway for the oil and gas in Fuyang oil reservoirs of the area.
