摘要
The Zhashan area of the South Qinling Mountains lies in the southeast of Shaanxi Province. It begins from Zhashui County in west and terminates at Shanyang County in east, covering an area of about 3000 km2.It is located in the South Qinling Mountains Hercynian and Indosinian fold zone with the main body between the Shangdan suture zone and the Fengzheng-Shanyang fault. This paper summarizes the regional metallogenic geological setting, and studies the characteristics of the hot brine exhalogene type copper(silver lead ore),sedimentary reformation stratabound copper deposit, hydrothermal vein type copper(nickel) deposit, skarn copper(iron),hydrothermal cracking rock type copper deposits, and porphyry copper(molybdenum, gold) deposits in this area.Based on these data,we elaborate the copper metallogenic regularity in this area, and propose that hydrothermal exhalation type, porphyry copper deposit, sedimentary reformation stratabound copper mines show a great prospecting potential.Currently known deposits(ore points) are all controlled by the regional Fengzheng-Shanyang fault which can conduct magma, heat, fluid and ore,and these deposits are distributed along both sides of the fault. The next exploration targets of copper deposits in the Zhashan area can be hydrothermal exhalation copper deposits, porphyry copper deposits and sedimentary reformation stratabound copper deposits. The preferred prospecting target areas are the deep part of the Yingdongzi deposit in Zhashui County,Chigou copper mining occurrence in Shanyang County,Lengshuigou copper mining occurrence in Zhashui County, followed by the Zhangjiaping copper mining occurrence and Sehepu copper mining occurrence in Shanyang County.Important exploration successes can be expected to find copper deposits through further surveys.
