On June 28, 2010, a large-scale landslide occurred in the 1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />1:PlaceType w:st="on">county1:PlaceType> of 1:PlaceName w:st="on">Guanling1:PlaceName>, 1:place w:st="on">1:PlaceName w:st="on">Guizhou1:PlaceName> 1:PlaceType w:st="on">Province1:PlaceType>1:place>. On June 30, 1:place w:st="on">1:PlaceName w:st="on">China1:PlaceName> 1:PlaceName w:st="on">Aero1:PlaceName> 1:PlaceName w:st="on">Geophysical1:PlaceName> 1:PlaceName w:st="on">Survey & Remote1:PlaceName> 1:PlaceName w:st="on">Sensing1:PlaceName> 1:PlaceType w:st="on">Center1:PlaceType>1:place> for Land and Resources (AGRS) carried out the urgent remote sensing flight disposed by China Geological Survey Administration, and high-resolution aerial image data of three days after landslide was captured. Then, ortho-rectification was completed for disaster interpretation and analysis. QuickBird data, aerial photo, 1∶50 000 digital topographic data and DEM were taken as pre-and post-6.28 landslide remote sensing data and geographical control data respectively. Based on the analysis of formation factors of 6.28 landslide and hidden geo-hazard interpretation, suggestions are proposed for disaster prevention and mitigation.
