Geological Features and Significances of W-Cu-Mo Mineralization in Jinshipo Ore Block, Dulong Sn Poly-Metals Deposit, Yunnan Province, China

摘要

The Dulong Sn-Zn poly-metals deposit is one of the most important producing area of Sn-Zn-In. By geological exploring recently for Jinshipo ore block, western of Dulong ore field, a new type of W-Cu-Mo mineralization was discovered. Its ore bodies are hosted in carbonate with quartz-mica schist of the Middle Cambrian Tianpeng Formation, which is 100 m above of Yanshanian concealed granite porphyry or around granite porphyry dike. Compared with Dulong skarn type Sn-Zn mineralization, its waU-rock alteration is dominated by garnetite and diopside. Scheelite, molybdenite and chalcopyrite are hosted in the contact zone of Yanshanian concealed granite porphyry and joint fissure or crack of skarn marble and cataelastic skarn with stringer or disseminated vein in shape. Being common and larger scale, it is suggested that W-Cu-Mo mineralization is not only discovered in the ore block, but also found in Tongjie-Majiazhai and Manjiazhai ore blocks, which is an important mineralization in further geological exploration. Moreover, with the expose of new geological information, it shows that Dulong deposit is a skarn type deposit related to Yanshanian granite porphyry, and the zoned mineralization and wall-rock alteration are controlled by the distance of rock mass.
