The Duolanhada area of Bayanuliegai Province in the State of Mongolia lies in the northwest part of the world-known Altai polymetallic mineralization province of copper, gold, lead, zinc and wolfram. Stratigraphy occurring in this area is the Devonian volcanic sedimentary rocks, mainly distributed at NWW and NE-_NNE directions. Based on analysis and researches of the stratigraphy, structures, regional geochemistry, typical ore occurrences and small-sized alkaline porphyry bodies in this area, the small-sized alkaline porphyry bodies provided heat source, mineralizing agent and ore materials for lead-zinc and polymetallic mineralization. The type of the lead-zinc deposits in this area should be volcanic-subvolcanic thermal gold, lead and zinc deposit constrained by conduit volcanic vents. A good geology and tectonic setting for lead-zinc polymetallic mineralization has made a good potential for ore prospecting.
