Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction Characteristics of Modulated Mineral
Modulated structure occurs in some natural minerals. The single crystal X-ray diffraction characteristics of commensurate (super structure) and incommensurate modulated structure minerals were described using a two-dimensional CCD area detector diffractometer. The classification of super structures was proposed based on reciprocal lattice and cell characteristics. The high dimensional indexing method was used in indexing single diffractions of incommensurate modulated structure minerals.
