The Aiding slope zone in southwest Turpan-Hami Basin is a relatively stable tectonic unit, overlain by lower Jurassic Badaowan Formation, Sangonghe Formation and middle Jurassic Xishanyao Formation under warm and moist climate conditions. An integrated analysis of structural geological setting, target stratum for prospecting, interlayer oxidized zone, hydrogeological features, primary geochemical type of rocks and basic features of uranium ore in southwest Turpan-Hami Basin indicates that prospecting vista of the interlayer oxidized zone uranium ore deposits is vast in the study area.
