The Jianjianshi Au deposit is a magmatic hydrothermal filling and replacement one. Diorite, quartz diorite, plagiogranite, and migmatitic granite in the Jinning epoch are dominant intrusive rock types in the ore district. The mineralization is controlled by NS-and NW-trending reverse faults which were compressive-shear faults and provided passage and host space for ore fluids.
