Physical Modeling of the Structures by Differential Lifting-Subsidence Movement and Its Implication for Formation of the Structures in Huangjuenan Area

Two sets of physical simulation experiments are designed for studying the plane combination and the development sequence of the faults in Huangjuenan area during Funing tectonic stage. It is concluded from the results of experiment that Huangjuenan area is made up of east-west faults in early Funing period because of extensional stress, which constitutes the basic structural frame of step-fault zone, and develops almost south-north small faults due to extensional stress and differential uplifting-subsidence movement in the late stage of Funing period.
