///In China there is many types of uranium resources, among which granite-type, volcanite-type and sandstone-type are the top three. Granite-type uranium resources are mainly located in south China, sandstone-type occurs in north China and volcanic-type is found in both north and south of China. It is concluded in this paper that ore-controlling factors of uranium deposit consist of tectonism, rock matrix factors (magma hydrothermalism), sedimentary formation and alteration etc..Among them, tectonism is the most obvious one, but deep source action is the most important one in terms of formation of ore body. It is summarized that the clues for prospecting are structural features, geochemical properties, geophysical properties and other geological characteristics. The overlapped area of various kinds of prospecting clues is the most favorable spot for prospecting.
